I recently followed a TV report about a piece of experimental software that is capable of judging ‘beauty’ like humans do. I suppose that PortraitProfessional uses similar algorithms to sculpture faces.

Anyway, I don’t think that your ‘creature’ is the sum of the five models – and that’s good. Phew! Then, however, I followed the link that Steven posted and fell in love with my result.

That’s long way for super-villain.. Unless by villain you mean pure beauty.
Great idea to try, I have a friend that for his masters did the same thing but with about 3000 people – He tried to find the average face.

Ed,
To get all 5 images to be equally (or at least nearly equally) represented I had to incorporate a couple methods including a different opacity for each layer as well as some tinkering with a layer mode or two.
