4 Lights

A Step by Step guide

Here is a step-by-step lighting diagram guide showing how I set up this particular 4-strobe shot.  The images next to the diagrams are straight out of the camera, also you’ll notice I don’t really make the model pose too carefully while I’m doing the light setup.

Fantastic post. Ive been curious about your lighting in some of these shots. Any possibility of a beginning to end (lighting and post) on a shot like this?

Lovely, thank you. Would be nice to also know what power ratios you have your lights set at.
    Thanks.

Kim – I definitely will consider that, though I don’t always take or save images that show the step-by-step process so it may be a problem.

Brooke – I did not make note of the ratios I used. Sorry!

Thank you, I did notice by the way, none of those images were retouched in any way shape or form in order to show what the actual lighting looked like. Thanks though!
